The group originated in the early year of 2007 as an Indonesian Pop Soul Band. Urban Vibe's music influenced by a couple of genr, such as Soul, R&B, Nu-Soul, Nu-Jazz and PoP. The mix of those genre makes what the guys at Urban Vibe called "Urban Rhythm", which is basically PoP with a SOUL.
As an individuals, each Urban Vibe's member is an experienced recording musician, as well as a session player for artists in Indonesia. They've played with Indonesian artists such as Mike (Indonesian Idol winner), Karen (Indonesian Idol Artist), Arief (one of TOFU's singer) and many more.
